Skeletons, Stories and Social Bodies Conference
Delighted to report a fantastic experience at the Skeletons, Stories and Social Bodies Conference which was held at the University of Southampton this weekend!
You can check out the program, speakers and more here: http://www.sssbconference.co.uk
Presentations were geared towards a multidisciplinary approach to the human body, skeletons today and in the past and how both the living and the dead live in a social world. It was invigorating, challenging and hosted by a great group of people.
I am also very happy to say that I was awarded the student prize for my podium presentation!
Here I am receiving the prize from Professor Caroline Wilkinson (John Moores University Liverpool) and Dr. Andrew O'Malley (University of Southampton). Thank-you to Dr. Jenna Dittmar for this photo!
Thanks again to the SSSB Committee for this award and a wonderful conference - counting down to SSSB 2018!
